The Rascals 2005 Storyline :

A love affair between a high-school boy and a beautiful girl sets off a battle between students at two colleges. The fight causes too many people to be injured when the violence spirals out of control. The unruly students are sent to to a remote military camp to be reformed. Later, they plan to escape, but it’s not what their plan should be when they find themselves stuck in a battlefield instead of escaping away from the camp.

Review of The Rascals (2005) Film:

BATTLE ROYALE BANGKOK is the film for you if you want a movie that does exactly what it says it will. With the exception of Tony Jaa/Panna Rittikrai films and the likes of BANG RAJAN, it is a cheap Thai rip-off of the Japanese classic BATTLE ROYALE and is just as horrible as it sounds. The majority of Thai action movies made these days are also terrible.

The movie begins on a somewhat amusing note with a disagreement that escalates into a full-blown street brawl. Following this, a paramilitary organization transports the criminals to a remote island, where they must fight for their lives. The following is a mix of high melodrama, low production values, and dull action that is barely embarrassing. Because of its over-the-top acting and lack of excitement in the action, this is the kind of movie that doesn’t do well with foreign audiences. I detested it.
